Hola, I am Maria de Jesus Mora de Gamble one of the Spanish teachers at Idalou ISD.  I will be teaching Spanish I, III, and IV.

A little bit about my education:  I have a Bachelor's Degree from West Texas A & M University with English and Spanish as my fields of study.  I also have a Master of Education Degree from Texas Tech University.  My love of learning has also taken me to Lubbock Christian University for some graduate work.  I am certified to teach English, Spanish, and English as a Second Language at all levels.  Spanish is my native language.    

My experience in education spans over 40 years.  I have taught Elelmentary, Middle School, High School, and University students.  I have also been an education consultant and provided training/professional development for teachers and adminitrators for many years. My work has also given me the opportunity to conduct training and make presentations at the State and National levels.

I am married to Dr. James Gamble.  We have been married to 29 years.  He works as a psychotherapist, raises catahoula dogs, and mules.  He is undoubtedly the best husband ever.  

My other family member is my mother.  Her name is Rebeca Mora and she is 91 and the best mama ever. 

My life’s passon is teaching and my students.  Other than my family, this is what brings me the most joy in my life.
