Welcome students to 2021-2022 school year!

I am starting my 14th year of teaching and coaching in Idalou. I currently coach in the Junior High and teach 6^th grade ELAR and Physcial Education. I am also a Fellowship of Christain Athlete Area Representative and facilitate the FCA campus ministry in Idalou. 

I was raised in Littlefield, TX and went on to play baseball at Wayland Baptist University. Upon graduation, I returned to my hometown of Littlefield, TX and coached there for three years.  I then coached at Lockney High School for seven years before coming to Idalou.  My wife, April, works for Idalou ISD as well. We have been married for 23 years and have two daughters-Bo 18, Logan 16, and an 11 year son, Jude.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family.   My hobbies include outdoor activities such as snow skiing and camping.  I also enjoy supporting my kids in their various activities and being involved in church activities.  

My goal in coaching is to make a lasting impact on students so that they may reach their highest potential.   Athletics and Education has had a huge impact on my life, and I hope to have the same impact on the kids that I coach and teach.
