Idalou ISD School Board Seeks Community Involvement for Superintendent Process

IDALOU ISD SCHOOL BOARD SEEKS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT FOR SUPERINTENDENT PROCESS

 

The Idalou Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees has employed Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services to assist with the search for a new superintendent. The Board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing a profile of the leadership qualities desired of the person the Board should seek to become the new superintendent.

Idalou ISD School Board seeks community involvement

for the superintendent search process

The Idalou Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees has employed Texas

Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services to assist with the search

for a new superintendent. The Board has requested that school personnel and the public

be involved in developing a profile of the leadership qualities desired in the person the

Board should seek to become the new superintendent.

The TASB search consultant will facilitate discussions with community members, staff,

and other groups as designated by the board. The schedule of these meetings is as

follows:

November 12, 2019 at the Lecture Hall in the Middle School at 601 S Walnut, Idalou

4:00 PM focus group: Idalou ISD Staff

5:00 PM focus group: Community Members

6:00 PM focus group: Community Members

The Idalou ISD Board president encourages all members of the community to attend and

share their thoughts and insights. Even though meetings are designated for specific

groups, each meeting is open to any interested person who wishes to attend. An online

questionnaire will also be provided for anyone who is not able to attend in person. Please
